Motor Driven Conveyor for Pallet Conveyors
Discover motor-driven roller conveyors designed to redefine efficiency, reliability, and precision. Whether you’re transporting pallets, large containers, or large totes, there’s a motor-driven conveyor designed for your specific material handling needs.
Motor-Driven Roller (MDR) Conveyor systems segment the conveyor into zones with a unique “motorized roller” powering the neighboring rollers through a connecting band. Each of these zones (or power-driven rollers) is governed by a drive card. This controller takes in 24VDC power and activates the roller, based on instructions from a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or a nearby sensor.
There’s a range of drive cards to choose from, depending on the level of ‘smart’ functionality needed for the specific conveyor section. The most elementary card activates or deactivates the roller under the guidance of a PLC or directly connected sensor. For features like accumulation, the subsequent card can process data from neighboring zones to form slugs, accumulate items, single out, or simply transport. The most advanced drive card can operate four rollers simultaneously, interfacing with multiple sensors and a PLC.
