Conveyor Controls Engineering

Conveyor Controls Engineering

At Industrial Kinetics, we maintain our own in-house conveyor controls engineering development department. This begins with careful planning and design while working with the mechanical team to create a product flow that is both efficient and intuitive. At this point, our controls engineers go into finer detail, specifying individual components such as photo-eyes, proximity sensors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s), and control panel components, among others.

When the component layout and design has been completed, the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is programmed and wired to communicate between all the motors, sensors, and Human User Interfaces (HMI’s) if applicable. Typically, we use RSLogix to create ladder diagrams for the PLC, however we also use other alternatives if the case requires it.

Below is our list of typical vendors for specific components, but we always accept requests from customers for any other equipment they would like have implemented.
