Padded Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyors
IK padded chain driven live roller conveyors use an RC60 power transmission chain with riveted drive pads to provide a friction drive to the rollers. Often times this is used in conjunction with a drive application and brake module, providing a zero pressure photoeye zone controlled conveyor. There is a pallet handling grade of conveyor using 2-1/2" diameter rollers and a smaller grade using 1.9" diameter rollers. Our frames are punched on a CNC controlled punched ensuring roller centers and hole locations to +/- .002".
Padded Chain Driven Live Roller (PCZAC) uses a friction drive to power the carrying rollers, but the capacity for this powered chain roller conveyors type is significantly increased over the belt driven live roller (BDLR) sections. This padded chain driven live roller conveyor is capable of moving and accumulating up to 2500 lbs on a GMA/CHEP pallet, and zoned on 5′ centers. The savings in this equipment is achieved when your system needs active accumulation of pallet/product over several zones. With one drive, the PZAC conveyor can convey and zone up to 8 loads (over 40 feet) at the 2500lb per pallet capacity, or up to 16 loads (over 80 feet) at 1000lb per pallet.
