Motor-Driven Roller Conveyor for Cases and Totes

Discover motor-driven roller conveyors designed to redefine efficiency, reliability, and precision. Whether you’re transporting cases, cartons, totes, or boxes, we ensure your products move seamlessly from point A to B.

Motor-Driven Roller (MDR) Conveyor systems segment their conveyors into zones using a unique “motorized roller”. This roller powers the rollers next to it via a connecting drive band. Each section, or powered roller, is managed by a drive card — essentially a controller. This device takes in 24VDC power and directs it to the roller, acting on instructions from a PLC or a nearby sensor.

Drive cards come in various types, depending on the complexity needed for the conveyor line. The simplest card activates or deactivates the roller following instructions from either a PLC or a direct-wired sensor. If there’s a need for accumulation, a more advanced card can be used. This card receives input from surrounding zones and has functions like creating slugs, accumulating items, singulating, or just transportation. The most advanced card can oversee four rollers simultaneously, communicating with multiple sensors and a PLC.
