IKI Provides Wire Mesh Belt Conveyor
Industrial Kinetics recently shipped a pair of wire mesh belt conveyors for an aluminum die cast project. The mesh belt conveyor was used for cooling and accumulation of products between two robots in the die cast process.
Wire mesh belt on roller was selected for the following reasons:
- Sprocket driven, eliminating potential tracking issues
- Durability of the conveyor surface, handling metal parts
- Heat resistance
- Open conveying surface suitable for air flow and cooling
